These terms govern all commissions placed with Naevum, Zürich ("Naevum") for bespoke timepieces and gift cards.
Presentations on this website are invitations to commission, not binding offers. A contract is concluded when Naevum confirms your commission in writing (email suffices) after the wishes have been aligned.
Every watch is made to order. After the intake session, an advance payment of 25% of the package price is due; design work begins upon receipt. The remaining amount is due upon completion of the watch, before delivery.
Because each watch is manufactured to the customer's individual specification, there is no right of withdrawal or return once design work has begun, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. The digital dial design approved by the customer is binding for production.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Production time is communicated individually and typically amounts to a few weeks from design approval; delivery dates are estimates, not fixed deadlines.
The statutory warranty under Swiss law applies (two years from delivery). The warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, water damage outside the stated resistance, or unauthorized opening of the case.
Gift cards are redeemable for commissions at their stated package or value. The recipient may upgrade a package by covering the price difference. Cash redemption is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, subject to mandatory statutory venues.
